The Key West Art & Historical Society is hosting a walking tour of historic downtown led by the Whiskey Rick of Private Tour Guide Key West. Learn more about President Truman in Key West on a stroll through the aptly named Truman Annex
Tour Highlights:
Weave through historic Truman Annex to learn about the history and legacy of U.S. President Harry S Truman in Key West. Along the route, attendees will learn about the US Navy Submarine Base, the Marine Hospital, Truman’s private beach, the Truman Little White House and the Truman Foundation.
Tour will meet in front of the USCGC Ingham at 10:00am and will finish at the Truman Foundation in Building 21 at 11:30am. Please dress appropriately for an outdoor walk. We encourage hats and bringing along a bottle of water.
