Parent and Me Fort Adventures

18-November from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM

Parent and Me Fort Adventures

TENTATIVELY scheduled to resume on Thursday, November 18, 2021, from 10:00 am – 11:30 am

How does a play date at a 150-year-old fort sound? This toddler-centric program allows parents and their children to explore and discover through hands-on play experiences. Every Thursday morning, this fun and educational class will focus on a specific theme that includes art, science, math, and building. Enjoy the Imagination Playground, water play, and story time in the spectacular setting of the Martello tower, one of six in the country.

Space is limited to 15 people, so please register below to secure your spot. Classes are free for Key West Art and Historical Society Members; suggested donation for non-members. All adults and children over the age of five are required to wear facial coverings (both mouth and nose) at all times while on the grounds or inside the museum. Lace (or similar) facial coverings are not acceptable. In order to keep everyone as safe as possible, we ask that all parents and children practice social distancing while visiting. Limited Free parking is available at Fort East Martello.

***Please revisit this webpage for up-to-date information about class cancellations. If you have already registered, you will be contacted by email about any cancelations. If you have any questions, please contact Education Specialist, Kassandra Collett at kcollett@kwahs.org.***

We will not be meeting on Thursday, November 25th. Our next session is tentatively scheduled to meet on Tuesday, December 2nd, from 10 am – 11:30 am.

Sponsored in part by the Helmerich Trust, Lee Garrison, and the Florida Division of Cultural Affairs
