Exhibition Opening From a Woman’s Hand
February 19 | 5pm – 8pm
Join us for the opening night of From a Woman’s Hand, a biennial exhibition celebrating the remarkable creativity and enduring cultural contributions of women artists throughout the Florida Keys.
Bringing together a diverse selection of contemporary artists, the exhibition highlights a rich range of practices, including painting, sculpture, photography, ceramics, printmaking, fiber, mixed media, and installation. Each artist offers a distinctive perspective shaped by personal experience, the natural environment, and the communities and histories of the Florida Keys.
Across varied materials and approaches, the works explore themes of identity, memory, resilience, transformation, heritage, and the natural world. Some artists respond to the fragile beauty of the Keys’ ecosystems, while others investigate abstraction, cultural experience, personal narratives, and the complexities of contemporary life.
From a Woman’s Hand celebrates both established and emerging artists, creating a dialogue across generations and showcasing the extraordinary breadth of artistic expression found throughout the region.
Be among the first to experience this inspiring collection and celebrate the women artists who continue to shape the cultural landscape of the Florida Keys.
