Key West Art & Historical Society Announces Music at Martello Concert Featuring Perpetual Groove and The Happy Dog Band
On Thursday, December 12, 2019, Key West Art & Historical Society proudly presents the latest live concert event in its popular Music at Martello series, held on the grounds of historic Fort East Martello, 3501 S. Roosevelt Blvd. Doors open at 6:00pm with The Happy Dog Band starting at 7 followed by featured legendary jam band, Perpetual Groove.
Perpetual Groove, known for a sound that fuses Southern rock, funk, jazzy improvisation, indie rock and synth loops, and whose hits include “Save for One,” “Mr. Transistor,” “Three Weeks,” “Teakwood,” and “Walking in Place,” will be performing from their classic play list along with material from their newly released self-titled album.
Concertgoers are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets for a “backyard casual” setup that will include food vendors and cash bar. General admission is $25; children under 12 admitted free.
