Brought to you in partnership with Williams Hall and presented as part of the Tennessee Williams Key West Festival.

Prepare for an intimate theatrical experience with Jacob Storms’ internationally acclaimed solo play, TENNESSEE RISING: The Dawn of Tennessee Williams (originally directed for the stage by Alan Cumming).

This powerful biographical work sheds much-needed light on the unexplored, formative years of Thomas Lanier Williams on his journey to becoming the iconic playwright Tennessee Williams. Written and performed by United Solo Award winner Jacob Storms, TENNESSEE RISING offers a poignant look at the influences and events that shaped America’s greatest dramatist — and created his most iconic character: himself.
