Exhibition Opening Collecting Paradise: Souvenirs & Ephemera of the Florida Keys
January 29 | 5pm –8pm

Join us for the opening night of Collecting Paradise: Souvenirs & Ephemera of the Florida Keys, an exhibition celebrating the colorful history of tourism, travel, and souvenir collecting in the Florida Keys.

Step into a nostalgic world of island memories, where postcards, brochures, menus, matchbooks, hotel mementos, textiles, maps, advertising pieces, decorative objects, and locally made treasures tell the story of generations of visitors who carried a little piece of paradise home with them.

Featuring an exceptional collection of vintage Florida Keys memorabilia – including iconic textiles from Key West Hand Print Fabrics, rare postcards, vintage travel ephemera, restaurant and business collectibles, and whimsical souvenirs – the exhibition explores how tourism shaped the identity of the Keys throughout the twentieth century.

Opening night is your chance to be among the first to experience this vibrant collection, filled with tropical color, mid-century charm, fascinating artifacts, and memories of a Florida Keys that continues to inspire.
