Enjoy a FREE outdoor screening under the stars of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Tennessee Williams’ iconic film adaptation of his Pulitzer Prize–winning play, presented as part of the annual Tennessee Williams Festival in Key West.
Starring Elizabeth Taylor and Paul Newman, with a memorable performance by Burl Ives, the film explores simmering family tensions, unspoken truths, and emotional power struggles during a sweltering Mississippi Delta gathering. At its center is the volatile relationship between Brick and Maggie, whose marriage is strained by loss, desire, and secrets no one wants to confront.
The screening will take place on Eaton Street directly outside Tropic Cinema. Guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs and settle in for a classic night of cinema under the night sky. Refreshments will be available for purchase from Tropic Cinema.
