Postcard depicting an American flag and another flag with two clasping hands over water. The message on the front reads, ‘from Lillian’. The message on the verso reads, ‘August 5, 1907. Dear Carrie: Mama received your letter today & was glad to hear from you. Also glad you received the box o.k. She did put that bottle in the box & I can't understand where it could have gone to, she says it is in a brandy bottle. She has come to the conclusion that you thought it was brandy but that is the A. Papa is not feeling very well today. Susie is spending the day home. Mama will write tomorrow. Lill.’ The card is addressed to Mrs. John W. Hattrick, 2113 Manton Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Station D, and is postmarked Key West, August 5, 1907.
