DescriptionPostcard of Alligator Reef Light. Notation on verso reads, ‘Sections of this lighthouse were assembled on Indian Key and then transported to the reef site four miles away. It was first lighted November 25, 1873.’ The card is postmarked Indian Key Festival, Islamorada, Florida, 33036, Island Station, February 7, 1987.
