On Sunday, October 1, join the staff of Fort East Martello Museum at 3501 South Roosevelt Boulevard, Key West, to explore one of the island‘s Civil War-era forts and learn about the art and history of the Florida Keys. Families of all ages are welcome to join Mrs. Kassandra and Mrs. Jenni in the Lee Garrison classroom, anytime from 11 am to 2 pm, to create art that is inspired by a different museum exhibit each month.
The Family Museum Day program is free and open to the public. Registration is not required, and all supplies will be provided by the Key West Art & Historical Society.
This project is sponsored in part by the Department of State, Division of Arts and Culture, the Florida Council on Arts and Culture and the State of Florida, with additional support provided by The Helmerich Trust.
