Sail into historic exploration with Reef Relief Education Director Dora DeMaria aboard the luxury sailing catamaran Argo Navis

On Thursday, March 16, Dora will lead an illuminating morning seafaring excursion presented by Key West Art & Historical Society aboard the luxury catamaran SV Argo Navis, departing from the dock at 0 Margaret Street at 9:00 a.m. and returning at 11:00 a.m.

Passengers will enjoy Bloody Marys, mimosas or non-alcoholic beverages along with lite breakfast fare as Dora discusses components of the Florida Keys ecosystem. Seagrass beds, mangrove forests, and coral reefs are unsung heroes of the Florida Keys. She will discuss the ecosystems that support life here, what they are, what their challenges can be, and how we can fix it. Having been born and raised in the lower Florida Keys, Dora is a wealth of knowledge and experience when it comes to the local environment.

Space is limited to 50 passengers – early registration is recommended.
