Stroll along the Key West seaport where the U.S. Navy raised it flag and established its naval base in 1823, visit the Mallory Steamship Dock Company office, talk about the Key West Aquarium as an important institution and a clearing house for aquariums around the country, walk along Front Street to the sponge docks, around to the shrimp fleet docks and eventually wind your way to the turtle kraals.
Tour will meet in front of the Custom House Museum at 11:00 a.m and will finish near Half Shell Raw bar at 12:30p.m. Please dress appropriately for an outdoor walk. We encourage hats and bringing along a bottle of water.
