October 30, 2019— (Key West, FL). Key West Art & Historical Society presents Children’s Heavenly Horses Archaeology 3-day Workshop at Fort East Martello Museum

Children aged 6-12 looking for a pre-Thanksgiving adventure can enjoy “Archaeology: The Heavenly Horses,” a Key West Art & Historical Society workshop held Monday, November 25 through Wednesday, November 27 from 9:00am-4:00pm at Fort East Martello Museum. This 3-day workshop features puzzles, traps, obstacle courses, field games, ancient alphabets, costuming, and live-action role-playing.

Led by instructors Rick “Deadeye” Wheelus and Kevin Lisinski, “Archaeology: The Heavenly Horses” students adventure teams will travel along the Silk Road, across the Steppes, and over the Himalayas guided by historic personas like Julius Caesar, Attila the Hun, and the Emperors of China as they discover the connections between the East and the West, save the world, and solve the riddle of the Heavenly Horses.
