Summer Theater Camp @ Fort East Martello | Key West | Florida | United States

Ages 5-14 (Please note that due to the intensive nature of our camps, we are unable to accommodate 4-year-olds)

Come join us as we rock ‘n’ roll to a a creative musical and theatrical experience that encourages children to take care of their minds and bodies. We will put on a rockin’ show, learning choreography to original rock songs. Through dynamic interaction, we will develop gross motor skills, team building, problem-solving skills, imagination, social awareness, acceptance, empathy and self-confidence. Those campers who prefer to stay behind the scenes will work on stage design and costuming. Designers will explore creative expression, character interpretation, period research, sketching, pattern-making and fine-motor skills. We will spend time with local theatrical experts and tour a local theater to round out our experience.

Camp Details

In addition to registering online, we will require a more detailed form for emergency purposes. The ArtCamp! 2018 registration form and Camper Code of Conduct will be emailed to you and must be completed before the commencement of camp.
Camp starts at 9:00 AM and ends at 4:00 PM. To ensure the comfort of your child throughout the day, we have included a list of essentials. Please pack these items in a beach bag that can be left at the camp. The bags will be kept in a designated storage area. It is important that all items be labeled with your child’s name. This year the Star of the Sea Foundation had kindly offered to provide free lunches for your campers. The menu will change from week to week. A sample menu has been included with your registration package. If you would like your child to receive lunch at no additional cost, please check the appropriate box on the registration form.
