Ages 5-14 (Please note that due to the intensive nature of our camps, we are unable to accommodate 4 year olds)
Camp Picasso is designed for students who want to explore various art forms. After learning about the life and art of Pablo Picasso we will work with students to design and build craft items for their homes, create abstract sculptures and provide opportunities for students to create art that is unique to them. By doing so, students feel empowered to be creative and expressive. It’s amazing to see just what kids design when given the freedom to explore and to express themselves creatively. Let the maginations soar!
Instructors: Natalie Robinson, Crystal Smith
In addition to registering online, we will require a more detailed form for emergency purposes. The ArtCamp! 2018 registration form and Camper Code of Conduct will be emailed to you and must be completed before the commencement of camp.
Camp starts at 9:00 AM and ends at 4:00 PM. To ensure the comfort of your child throughout the day, we have included a list of essentials. Please pack these items in a beach bag that can be left at the camp. The bags will be kept in a designated storage area. It is important that all items be labeled with your child’s name. This year the Star of the Sea Foundation had kindly offered to provide free lunches for your campers. The menu will change from week to week. A sample menu has been included with your registration package. If you would like your child to receive lunch at no additional cost, please check the appropriate box on the registration form.
