Ages 5-14 (Please note that due to the intensive nature of our camps, we are unable to accommodate 4 year olds)
In the age of digital media, children use all manner of devices to create short films for their own entertainment. Join Ms. Crystal and Ms. Natalie for a week of engaging activities designed to channel the genius behind the camera. In this camp, the children will develop a script, cast roles, design costumes and direct a movie. The students will have an opportunity to enhance their knowledge of technology and understanding of the film production process. As a finale to the week of movie-making families are invited to the movie premiere at Custom House.
Instructors: Crystal Smith & Natalie Robinson
In addition to registering online, we will require a more detailed form for emergency purposes. The ArtCamp! 2018 registration form and Camper Code of Conduct will be emailed to you and must be completed before the commencement of camp.
Camp starts at 9:00 AM and ends at 4:00 PM. To ensure the comfort of your child throughout the day, we have included a list of essentials. Please pack these items in a beach bag that can be left at the camp. The bags will be kept in a designated storage area. It is important that all items be labeled with your child’s name. This year the Star of the Sea Foundation had kindly offered to provide free lunches for your campers. The menu will change from week to week. A sample menu has been included with your registration package. If you would like your child to receive lunch at no additional cost, please check the appropriate box on the registration form.
